Where healing unfolds naturally

Welcome to Mountain Hedge

Hello! I’m

Cody

My journey to acupuncture was rooted in both personal experience and deep respect for the body’s innate ability to heal. After navigating my own challenges with debilitating panic attacks, chronic anxiety, loss and grief, I found lasting support through acupuncture and herb medicine. That first experience I had with acupuncture not only helped me reconnect to my body, but sparked a deeper calling within me.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese herbal medicine from Colorado Chinese Medicine University in 2024. I was especially drawn to the hands-on, intuitive aspect of this medicine, which led me to further my studies in Hari Japanese Meridian Therapy - a gentle, highly refined approach that aligns with my philosophy of treating with intention, presence and care.

As a life-long mountain local- raised in Idaho Springs and currently living in Georgetown- I feel deeply connected to this community. My husband and I are raising our two boys here, surrounded by the beauty and rhythm of mountain living.

I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey.

How Acupuncture can support you:

Acupuncture helps regulate the body, calm the nervous system and restore balance from within. It is commonly used to support with:

  • Pain and tension

  • Women’s health and cycle support

  • Digestive concerns

  • Sleep and energy

  • Stress management

  • Anxiety and mental wellbeing

  • Gentle support for common childhood concerns

  • Immune health and overall longevity … and much more!

What is Japanese Acupuncture?

The form of Japanese acupuncture I practice is Hari. Hari is a Japanese Meridian Therapy that is a gentle, refined approach to healing that focuses on deeply listening to the body. This approach uses a mix of thin needles as well as touch needling. Hari sees the body as a whole, seeking to restore balance to the entire system. This style of acupuncture can be supportive to those who are more sensitive, hesitant to acupuncture, and children. Hari, though gentle, is a deeply restorative and highly effective form of healing.
